By accessing or using the SearchSwitch Chrome extension and its associated services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms govern your use of the Service, which is provided by Oake.life ("we," "us," or "our").
The Service consists of a Chrome browser extension that allows you to change your browser's default search engine and a backend that facilitates the redirection of your search queries to your chosen search provider.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, or transfer your rights to use the Service.
The Service, including its "look and feel" (e.g., text, graphics, images, logos), proprietary content, and other materials, are protected under copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You agree that we own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service; (c) interfere with the operation of the Service or any user's enjoyment of it, including by hacking or defacing any portion of the Service.
The Service redirects your queries to third-party search engines (e.g., Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Your interaction with any third-party service is subject to that third party's own terms and policies.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will we be liable to you for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
